just a piece of advice... DON'T EVER watch a horror movie whenever any woman is around you. They just dont know how to react during a horror movie.
Here's how they REACT when suddenly a ghost appears from nowhere... first they will shout so loud that you are surely gonna miss next few dialogues. and when they come back to their senses after that shouting and howling , they start giggling ferociously as if they just understood the best ever one liner delivered by any ghost... :) (and quite obviously you are gonna miss some more dialogues again)...but actually they just got to understand that they got scared by some silly thing...and you start wondering whether you bought tickets for a jim carrey movie or a spooky one.
all this knowledge stems from what i experienced myself today :(

As if you were much better- here, let me give your friends a piece of advice: never go watch a film with Nareee if he has already seen it, he'll have fun telling you before the action what will happen!! Spoils all the fun!! (me, taking a revenge? noooo! lol)
ReplyDeleteBut i must admit that some gilrs can behave in a really silly fashion- forgive me, but how to stay serious when you have girls all around shrieking at every bit of suspense and violence!! (hehe)

ok i hate scary movies so as a solution i never watch em.. i wouldnt shriek but i'd definitely get startled or might even close my eyes

ReplyDeleteits almost impossible to be nice. there were 7-8 ladies sitting on my left hand side and they were always shouting, laughing and shrieking...and to add insult to injury...there was a couple sitting just next to me romancing between a horror movie...tht was too much.

hey i just told u the story only twice...and kept my mouth shut after i was reprimanded :( ...and it was only for u that i came to see the movie which i had already seen.
I never forced you to come, now, did i? I just informed you that we were going, and offered you to come with us had you not already seen it. :p

I hate spooky movies, I mean really, I can't bear them , I am much too reactive and I get too involved in the film. I had warned the guys that I would be bad company, but they begged us (we were 2 girls) to come with us. I suspect they as much wanted to see the movie as see our reaction and laugh at us! ;)

yep i am reactive as well..besides the ones with those newhere netime ghosts spook me more .. then situation specific ones.. makes sense?

Actually, what you don't get, Naren, is that if one wants to romance and increase the intimacy between a couple, what best than to bring the girl to a scary movie, where you will be sure that whenever she is afraid she will rush to hide into the strong and comforting arms of the guy?!!! ;)

what kills me is more the supsense and the music than anything obviously shown: explosions, muredrs, bloodshed, fine. But if the music goes crescendo, even if the screen shows a small kid on a swing, i'll freak out! :p

i cant say no to u anytime(u know that)...but why do these couples hav to come to a horror movie(im not convinced with ur logic...wat if the person u r hugging just turns into a ghost..ha ha ha)
