Salute to an enigma called LOVE...

This last one week was really great, not at personal level though. First of all, my father is almost ready to return to usual hustle bustle of life. On personal front, I was trying desperately to talk to one of my friend, but it almost didnt happen, through all the week…so our communication gap has now quite widened in dimensions matching upto the distance between Chicago and Delhi J. But I hope she is doing fine, that’s all I want to know and dats wat I pray for her. So now lets move to more interesting things that happened in this week---lets call this week as “Salaam-e-Ishq” ..and u know what, I even dared to watch the movie on Saturday but I could not stand it beyond 40 minutes...

So, this week was completely devoted to my two very good friends…both providing altogether different viewpoints of this enigma called “love” . but shall I start with good viewpoint or the bad one?…so deciding by the saying “ all is well, that ends well”…I start wid the bad but interesting episode.

On last Monday, I stumbled upon a ‘damsel-in-distress’, Ms M, all thanks to my avid chatting:). I came to know from her that she is sister of one of my schoolmate, also she was/is girl friend of my another schoolmate and childhood friend, Mr. G (wow too much of a co-incidence to chance upon)…and her bro, me and Mr G were all classmates at the same time. I also got enlightened about the double-triple timing my friend Mr G was doing with this beautiful gal. This very good childhood frend of mine is right now at present dealing with three gfs – past gf, present gf(this gal) and future gf. Wow..isnt tht too great for him. That gal was too depressed when I heard her story a few days back. She even attempted suicide, tht too twice within a period of 3days…that itself alone says it all , of what she was going through due to my friend’s behavior and attitude towards her. But now she has finally broken off, with him also agreeing to it eventually. So I hope, its beautiful days for her again, where she can concentrate on her career, family and friends. And what am I supposed to do about my friend—the thing is , he hasn’t harmed me in any way, and also he hasn’t shown his true colors to me, so I am still behaving as usual with him. But, from now on, I would be more watchful of his behavior and actions.

In second tale of this week, I finally got to meet the beautiful girl-friend, Ms P, of my friend Mr. C. Don’t ask me where we met, the more important is , we met and met for good one-hour. So this Mr. C was waiting to propose to her for a long time , but his lucky moment came just a few weeks ago. and that too was not-smooth sailing. She almost rejected him, showed attitude, nakhres, teased him a lot but finally and thankfully agreed to his proposal.

And wow, how lovely they both looked as a couple, seated together in front of me at a roadside dhaba (yes, that’s where we met, this Thursday). They really looked like a "made for each other" couple. (Hitting each other with small buds that were falling from the tree beneath which we sat---how romantic…but to me it was childish…haha….;) but they were enjoying this all, and they seemed to relish each other’s company. They complemented each other very well on every thing…be it ordering food, coke or teasing me, or digging out info from me. But I noticed most important thing later when Ms. M made me realize what exactly it all meant. A person introducing his girl friend to his friends shows that he is serious in his relationship and wants to show to the world, his prized possesion of which he is so proud of. Also that he is interested in long term planning…and all that. And how Ms. M could tell this was, coz Mr. G never ever introduced her to any of his friends.

And before I could end this entry, I have already come upon 2 more love stories. One story demands total privacy as i am bound under the oath to safeguard the secrecy of the people involved in it(looks like Da vinci Code types...lol). So, let’s keep that story under wraps for now. As for the second story, it’s finally and happily settling down to marriage. Deepti got engaged on this Sunday to her love for 3years. Many congrats to her and wishing her very best for future.

And I am thinking of opening a Emotional Consultancy Services, only for ladies…because these days I am too busy listening to so many love stories, that too pretty damsels coming my way with their sob stories. But contrary to general practice, habit and belief; I am not giving them any advice or consolation. I am just lending my concerned ears to them. I have become a very good listener these days. But this wasn’t the case too recently, I was getting fed up too easily. So all these ladies made me a good listener once again. Thanks to all these pretty ladies for that. And I am just asking them to “compartmentalize their mind”...nothing else. I hope you know, what that means.

In my next blog entry, I would be telling u 5-6 sure shot ways of becoming a multi- millionaire. So watch out this space regularly.
