Have you Ever...

Everything that's so sublime,
Shall be soothing like a children's rhyme,
Shall make you realize some day
That life's not meant to be wasted in a fray.

Have you Ever preached a faith Revival ?
Have you Ever Performed a struggle for survival ?
Have you Ever fed anyone with your two hands ?
Have you Ever sung a prayer in a church's Band ?

Have you Ever felt the emotions of your Parents ?
Have you Ever done a deed so Transparent ?
Have you Ever tasted the warmth of Snow ?
Have you Ever won a defeat's Afterglow ?

Have you Ever heard the voice of silence ?
Have you Ever felt the the pains of violence ?
Have you Ever seen the spirit so divine ?
Have you Ever been embraced from moonlight to sunshine ?

Have you Ever touched the joy of success ?
Have you Ever risen from a dying Distress ?
Have you Ever made a child to smile ?
Have you Ever walked with an old, a mile ?

Have you Ever looked Above the mountains ?
Have you Ever bathed in a thousand fountains ?
Have you Ever survived the Satan’s shiver ?
Have you Even Swam across a dying River ?

obviously not written by me, but one of my dear friend, Abhishek Vaid, one of the most intelligent minds i have met till date...(maybe because he always loved bits and bytes more than babes...lol)
