does every entry need a title??
i am here to explain my absence from blogs for so many days. for the past 1.5months , i have been fighting very hard with 'pheryngits' taking several pills a day and mostly switching to healthy green vegetable diet. i must have eaten more vegetables in last one month than my whole life...whoa
and doc has also put me on multivitamin capsules...so its something like taking a pill, then a vegetable, a pill again a vegetable...and my las t 30 days have gone like this with sporadic study sessions for my CAT exam..i have done miserably in my exam...again my strongest point has proven to be my waterloo. it was the simplest exam CAT could have ever managed and i blundered unmistakenly.maths and data interpretation section were easily cleared off but english proved to be everyone's nemesis including mine.
im still on leave from my office, will try to rejoin in last week of november.
as about my relationship...sometimes i am trying hard to move away from it, and sometimes i just dont know anything(thts too easy to say everytime...)
i read 'freakonomics'(really gr8 book...a must read), Narnia part1,23(still on 4th), sherlock holmes(nth time), hercule poirot's early cases, suitable boy by vikram seth(its fatter than LOTR...),guns from navarone, untouchable by Mulk Raj Anand(marvellous..must read),and two management books....all read in last one month.
so that was me in last one month precisely...hoping to be more regular from now onwards.

wow that is a lot of reading
ReplyDeleteHehe, that sounds familiar, "Suitable Boy" by V.S.! ;) I'm not convinced about the real quality, but it sure keeps one busy!! And i have been told n times that Freakonomics is a must to be read. Maybe i'll try to get my hands on it and get through it... but unlike u i haven't found much time these past few weeks for pleasure reading! okay... fault to my socializing skills... loool.
ReplyDeleteAs for the rest, yaar, i wish i could convince u to stop digging for problems about yourself! You are a great guy, stop looking for things which are going amiss, why bother?! Just live it through, that's just part of who you are! And... i won't say it enough: make the best of it!! Well, i'm glad you're back to office (thanks for the info, Shailen! lol), that'll give you less idle time to create tortuous thoughts! :D
