Summary... and a different India
I know its getting too monotonous..but what can I do..I am here to write blogs abt my life, and right now there is only one thing which i seems to be doing and that is SHOPPING.
After 5months and 6 very-enriching shopping experiences, i present a summary of all those experiences for all you people.
13th may,06
My first shopping ever...that too for ladies wear..suit and salwar...with Angel; time taken 2.5hrs; experience was gud but tiring.
19th aug,06
Shopping with Ms. M after 4hrs of SRK movie...again female wear..(some making of an expert)...6hrs taken... exeprience-- very tiring but enjoyed due to her bubbly character and bindaas style...she is one hell of a person.
2nd sept,06
My all alone shopping adventure...2.5hrs, bought two shirts, just went to one shop and took 2hrs to choose shirts...finally the helper over there helped me a lot..and the adventure was over.not so exciting experience.
10th sept,06
Angel again...forced to wake up at 6 in the morning on a sunday to go 35km and then watch a movie with her...it was all well till then, when it was announced that there is shopping experience also waiting fo rme...3hrs...but they never felt like 3hrs...shopped for ladies watch, ladies sandals and a skirt for angel...i loved this experience very much.

Does women always strike in pair...yes they do. if angel completed her pair(of shopping) , then how can Ms. M be far behind..so this time it was M again...at Connaught Place..we looted Janpath...bought mini skirt(yes, MINI :)), ladies watch, tattoo strips, and misc small things...everything for her. We had biryani at her favourite joint...and then it was usual metro train ride for both of us...(i dunno why i am always travelling in the same direction as my female companion..and end up giving some extra companionship)...i liked shopping for mini skirt...another extravagant experience.
The Mother of all shopping experiences

Accompanied by my mother(yes..MOTHER), I went for vegetable shopping this time..to a local weekly vegetable market. Its usually my father or my elder bro, who goes to market with mom, but this time i was stuck and stuck badly...my mom still doesnt believe in vegetable section of supermarkets and malls..and she always want fresh vegetables..this market is surrounded by raddish, tomato and cauliflower farms. so, farmers directly sell these vegetables..so u really get cheap and fresh. There are shops here, where if u demand, the shopkeeper just rush to his farm and pluck out fresh raddish, tomatoo, etc for u..right in front of ur eyes..now how fresh u want ur vegetables to be...this market beats everything.
So, we shopped for little under an hour and shopped fresh vegetables for our household for a week...mothers, mothers, mothers...they r so caring, so picky while choosing things for their families..they r god's messenger...
i loved this vegetable shopping too..watching common people, poor people bargaining for every single penny, their smiles even with so much tension brings something good in air which u can feel but cant tell, people rushing like mad people to rs10 chowmein stall, rs5 chole-bhature stall, rs5 burger stall and enjoying even the last bite to the fullest..thts our india, far different from india which splurges money like anything at malls...this common india, this fighting india, india of these people is running our motherland...i like more of this india and not tht glitzy, pompous india which is shying away from their roots, and trying to mock western world. But still i dont wish to come again as i am not at ease with simplicity of hearts of these people. i want to be like them ...fighting,struggling and yet finding those little moments of happiness in their lives to keep themselves afloat.
it seems i just drifted away from my main theme..but i just could not ignore them. ;) ...
and now dont be surprised that how could i remember all those dates...it just happened..but these dates are almost correct.
So, i certify myself to be a shopaholic ,but only in the company of fairer sex.
But i dont like shopping :(
