Religion Of Mob...
mob was pulsating with fury, anguish and anger, nobody was spared... the mob comprised of hindus and they were out to take revenge against muslims . this mad crowd was showing solidarity to other hindu "keepers of religion" who were also on a killing spree to safeguard their religion...
they reached the town hall, where statue of Maulana Azad stood firmly atop a raised platform. suddenly someone shouted from mob, "pull down that statue...he is also a muslim."...and all of a sudden that statue was down lying on the ground. And there came the police, started lathi-charge , then there was some struggle and many people were wounded and arrested.
Wounded people were carried to Maulana Azad Govt. Hospital.

nice.. there is a good irony in it.. besides maulana azaad was a secular muslim who chose to stay back in india..

So many things could have been avoided, had we not a mob mentality, i.e. once a small group gets together, they can do anything, pushing eachother further, daring eachother, and afraid of nothing... Sad.
